Heyyy SIS!!!:) Yes I am sharing my package with my companion. Guess what I got a change I left from Tacna and now I'm back in Arequipa but in the center part of Arequipa the area I am in is called Umacollo and they called me as District Leader on my Zone its a big calling for me because I'm in charge of my district to see how there doing in the area:) I'm so nervous because I never done this before but its a great way to learn more and more. My new companion is cool he is from Chile his name is Elder Santana. yes it was hard to leave my other area it was very very difficult to say goodbye but ill see them soon though. Im doing great just working hard and even harder because my new area my companion and I are new here so we do not know my area at all and have to find new people to teach and learn everything, the streets and what buses to take etc... but the members are helping us which is a good thing:) I love you and miss you everyday:)!!! in 15 days ill have a ONE year!!!!!! HEyy Hermanita!!!!:)) how are you and the family i hope everything is great back home:)
My week was amazing we had a lot of lessons taught in a week its 30 or 31 lessons this week better than our other  weeks we had. Actually while walking to visit some families I got bitten by a dog but don't worry it wasn't bad at all I'm fine but the dog ripped my pants LOL it was funny to see my pants all ruined ill send you a picture of it next week. Well i sent a picture to my parents maybe they can show you its a big rip and I asked a member if he can save my pants life hehe and he said no it was a bad ripped so we couldn't do anything. I lost a soldier in the battle this week but I have more pants to wear I am good though. yes I received my parents package but not yours well not yet it could be soon I just have to wait. The next change on the mission is on July 13th that maybe my next move don't know where but it could be my last time here in Tacna you may never know the change here there so random well we have to see the call we get Saturday night.  Things are amazing through experiences I have had through my first year here on the mission just cant wait to explain everything and show pictures once I return home. I met families who are less active and to hear there story on why they have not return to the church its pretty sad but can be fixed if they put there efforts to return and its even worst if their own sons are returned missionaries who served for two years I mean it doesn't make sense to me at all why x missionaries leave the church but now its our job to bring them back. Yes I'm still reading the Book of Mormon in Portuguese well I have it on audio too so I listen to it and follow in the book:)

HEyy SIS!!!!:) last saturday we had a baptism it was so special here is a photo of the baptism it was so awesome and we have another one next saturday we are so excited for it too. oh yeah Hermantia im still in the same place so yeah the packages soon will get to me haha my next move will be on July 13th not sure where but im going to a new area well have to see hehe:) i love the mission its so awesome the best part is that we sometimes talk to the jehovah witnesses and other religions because there are so many reasons that makes our church true and once we explain those reasons to them they just get silent and walk away  and they know that we are going to say what we believe, don't worry we do it respectfully of course but we always win haha. The experiences I have gone through had me thinking a lot of stuff really seeing things on the mission where we have to help families and people its pretty hard it gets to a point where us Elders we can't do anything more to help the family I am not sure if I am making sense but yeah they just have to put there faith in the Lord its hard for us their problems become our problems its like your part of the family and all of the problem is yours too and you want to do as much as you can to find the solution but you can't its really sad but soon all the problems disappear just like that and it makes me happy to see the family happy but other times you leave that house felling bad and it brings you down. Don't worry since right now im happy and full of energy to keep teaching the gospel but at night my companion and I arejust exhausted haha:) I hope you have a great week at your new job ill pray for you and everybody else. HEyy SIS!!!!!:) HOW are you??  Happy Memorial Weekend! Well for me we went to the beach again but i love the beach so i dont mind going everytime ill send the pics next week i forgot to bring my usb which i have my pictures. this week something so excited!!!!! We have two baptisms on the sameday on Saturday. My companion and I are so pumped up for this baptism it took us awhile and the special part is that they are both cousins and we were teaching just one of them but then his cousin came along from Cusco and well he was interested in our mesage and so now they both accepted the invitation to be baptize the hard part was that we had to get the permission of their parents I mean we had to do everything to get their permission and so we got it!!:) they all agreed on the decision that theie sons made of being baptized in the church:) their names are Rocky and Joel we are so happy for them and so we are going baptize them one for me and my companion. we have been getting a lot of references from members but this could be my last time in the area i may be leaving to a new area next monday because the changes are coming up soon. Hermanita its great seeing you again I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU TOO:) I miss seeing the house haha and my room HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to YOU and my MOM HEHEHE:) two more months and ill have a year on the mission  29th of July mark it hehehe:) Im so happy for last night it made my day and my week:)it was so exciting to see you on Sunday  and we got to talk to each other and laugh about it it was so great:) no sis I was not upset just  tears but they were tears of joy :)  I am great so excited for the three baptisms we have this month please dont worry I am happy as I can be:) today we are going to the beach later today  I love you and miss you:)

Hermanita:)!!!! Is almost time to see each other again on skype the last time it was on Christmas and now its time again time goes by super fast. So I told my dad that we can call on Sunday at 4 here so in Houston not sure exactly the time over there I think its 5 or the same time, not sure whose skype account is it going to be the same as in Christmas so will need your account.

HEyyy Hermanita!!!:) HOW are you?? that's great I just love the video you can share it with your co workers as well thats want we are doing here on the mission sharing the video to everybody and families. I've never seen the movie meet the mormon but it seems like a great movie ill have to see it when I come back.  Everything is great actaully we have 4 new investigators who are progressing and they just want to follow Christ which brings so much joy to my companion and I this past week was great because we have been behind the family with the wedding which they should have on 6 of May. By the way I am still learning portuguese little by little because theres a missionary who knows portuguese and hes teaching me to speak portuguese its so cool!!!  We are having some struggles with some of the investigators but we all go through challenges and moving on from an investigator we have to because if they do not progress or they dont have the desire to change or listen to us then we can't waste time with them we have others who want to to listen to us and who are ready to listen the word of God but it happens maybe in the future our investigator will realize that we are hear to help him and his life but for now he does not want to  listen to us right now. YEah im still training this month will be the last month  of my companions training today there was changes in the mission but im still here in TACNA so that we can finish my comps training the next change will be the 1st of June and maybe ill move or stay here who knows hehehe!! i sent you pictures on is the beach we went to for the second time with my companion and other photo is with my new friend hes a PitBull but very playful and so strong his name is Byrum i love him his so awesome heheh!!! I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY SIS!!!:)

HEyyy!!!!! Hermanita:) HAPPY EASTER!!!! hope you had a great and wonderful weekend:) I bet Nati had a great weekend finding all the eggs haha thats so awesome but so much candy too hehehe.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PACKAGE HAHA i loved and i at all of the candy already and of course I gave a tie to my companion too hes says thanks:)  Im great Sis just working hard finding new people to teach our message we have for them there is a video that the church made and I want YOU to see it when you have the chance go to: HELIVES.MORMON.ORG its a great video and it has a beautiful message it was made for Easter its about that Jesus Christ still lives and Thanks to his resurrection we have the opportunity to return to Our Heavenly Father again. Sadly we had to let go to one of our investigators it was hard for us but the investigator was not progressing and he told us that he didn't have time to listen to us. It happens that's the mission so people are ready to listen and accept the gospel and the message we have for them. I hope everything is great back home:) hows work sis?? how are you?? Hermanita:) Heyyy!!:) How are you??  GUESS WHAT???? IM TRAINING AGAIN THIS IS MY SECOND TIME. I'm training a new missionary so it will be another great experience for me its pretty awesome to train a new missionary since my companion is from Medellin, Colombia even better so I can practice my spanish with him, he is a great missionary.

I finally got to taste and touch a yellow watermelon heres a photo but its so good just like a red watermelon I couldnt believe my eyes hahah!! I mean I didnt even know that it existed :)Yeah I received a package from my parents last Thursday I am pretty sure your package is coming soon YAYYY!!!! Something CRAZY happened to us last night... While we were sleeping we went through a little earthquake it happened like during 12 or 1 in the morning that woke me up but everything was shaking back in forth since we sleep on the third floor, we felt it even more it was like our room was going to fall I mean it was a pretty strong it only lasted like 5 minutes; I had never experience that before so now I can say I went through a temblor :)

Lately we have been getting a lot of references from members and the less active members who are more challenging because they know about the church but its hard also since they haven't gone to church in  forever so they here stuff about our church which causes confusion and from that they ask silly questions when they should know what the truth is but that is our job to keep them going on the correct path as members of the church.  I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY TOO!!!!:) Hugs and Kisses

Heyy Hermanitaaa!!!! I miss the cold it's just so hot here haha so I miss the cold back home. Yes itss crazy this month I turn 8 months in the mission and 4 more I will have a year I can see that time does go by fast really fast. Thank you for those words I feel better and that's the mission you know challenges are everywhere and we have to face them and be strong to overcome and continue ahead  and from those challenges we learn new things that we can understand. That's why we are in this world right now our Heavenly Father wants us to be tested and he wants to see what we do it's all up to us to do our part in this life. That's why I love the mission and now we need more young men and women to serve and share the gospel. Thats great you guys are doing to 10k haha I might as well do that when I get back home to get rid all the fat I am gaining here LOL.

 I  LOVE YOU TOO AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY  this month will be great for us because we are having a wedding and a baptism too so it will be a good month Take Care and Be Safe.

Hi Sis what's new?? back at home hope everything is going well at work with oil prices going down and the project you guys are working on. Lately its been stressful for my companion and I because many things are going on with families and their troubles which makes us feel bad and sad but we can't let it get to us or else it will affect our way of working for other families its just hard but we just got to keep going forward. I miss you a lot SIS EVERYDAY and I LOVE YOU TOO and Steve and Nati. But we are working on a baptism and a wedding for the month of March also what is stressing us the wedding we are having so much stuff to do for a wedding so much paperwork its so different here in Peru for just a wedding but we are doing well with that gladly:)

Heyy Sis!!!! How are you??? yeah we went to the beach last Monday and we had a baptism as well it was a good week for us. Sending you pictures of the beach and my watermelon and I got cake on my face for my birthday it was so awesome:) 
Is been challenging there is just people that will accept us or people who do not but that is the mission.
Time goes by so fast I am almost 8 months here and 4 months I will be 1 year here on the mission:) we have one more baptism this month and a wedding to on the same day we are so excited about it and we are still working with them to plan everything for that special day!!!! my birthday was great we celebrated with other Missionaries had a great day.


My experiences here has been shocking because I see people that abuse alcohol just drunk out of there minds and those people are like fathers and I see them arguing to their own kids yelling it is just so sad but I mean I don't know its just hard to see that :( yes the missions purpose is not the number of baptisms thats not what is important the important thing is that we find people and save lives and keep working with them until the end so they can be members of the church so they know the truth of all things of the gospel.
The mission was one the best decision I have ever made in my life thank you for the the support and for the Lord.

Sis,

 Tacna is a small town and there is not much here but is crazy hot over here more than in Arequipa!!!!! its like Summer in Texas but a little be worse here  where im at just drinking a whole bunch of water everyday!!! i love it here im just getting to know new places in Peru i just love seeing new things in new places in another country its really awesome!!!:) my companion is really cool because he is from Lima but also lived here Tacna before he started his mission so he kinda knows Tacna a lot more. 
We live in a members house but on the third floor we have our own beds study desks and a bathroom and every month we pay her rent. I cant believe I turn 19 this week its crazy I am almost 20 hahaha time goes by really fast

well i have to go we are going to the beach today!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU TOO

Heyy SIS!!!!!:) sorry i couldn't write to you on Monday is because i had to travel to my new area early morning at 7am but now i made it to my new area its outside of Arequipa. I am in Tacna its way south of Peru and close  to the border of Peru and Chile the city is in the coast but its so hot here its crazy. My new companion is Elder Franco from Lima Peru he is pretty cool. My new zone is Alameda and my area is Vista Alegre. I am just getting use to the area. 

Everything is great i had my last baptism before i left to my new area it was so special :) its just so hot!!!!!!!  I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY:)

HEYY!!!!!!!  SIS :)  my next move is in two weeks, I am not sure where im going to be assigned to yet but I will keep you posted.  We are still working very hard on sharing the gospel is not that easy but it seems as we are getting close to accomplishing a lot and we just got to finish strong for the LOVE YOU  AND MISS YOU EVERY SINGLE  DAY!!!!!:)  IT FINALLY rained here its been two years since it rained apparently here in Arequipa it felt so good :)

This week has been challenging working with one of our investigator who is 16 his name is Sebastian his older brother committed suicide Friday morning and that just been very difficult specially for his family starting the new year 2015 and especially for Sebastian he is just not the same after what happened but we continue to visit him to his house continue to pray with him and make sure we can be of service we want to make sure he knows he has our support. I just can't explain the feeling they must be going through at all but we have to keep going forward we will stay strong for him in faith.

Hey Sis!! Again Merry Christmas it was the best and amazing moment for me to see all of my family again after 6 months here in Perú.  We ate so much turkey salad and paneton with chocolate but we had it for two days straight I MISS EVERYONE EVERYDAY TOO!!! I am not sure what we are going to do for New Years but i think we will be doing something.Here are the picture from Christmas . Hi Sis, lately here is been getting cloudly and they say that it rains her in December and January I am so excited for it Christmas will not be a cold one but a hot one I love the rain. and CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE and 2015 is around the corner. Im still waiting for your package it should be getting here soon. I am getting use to the culture in Peru and their food.

We are working on a baptism but its going to take a while but we will have one soon I have faith.

Wow, 4 months on Saturday the 29th of November. My companion and I work really well together, the mission is one of the best decisions I made and I love it!!!!. No I have not received the package its going to take awhile until the package gets here. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY

I forgot to mention that I met a new friend on the street. Her name is China but in Spanish she is so small... we just found her with other family we visit

Heyyy SIS!!!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!:) we also celebrated THANKSGIVING with the zone and ate TURKEY TOO everyone is mostly from the STATES so they all wanted to do something and we had a dinner. We had our second baptism as well this week!!!!! All the missionaries  are so excited about being able to talk to their families. Companion and I are doing fine working hard and he is teaching me Hawaiian and Samoan too while I teach him Spanish.

Heyy Sis!!! how is everything over there??? I am training Elder Wilson he is from California and he is really cool. YESSS!!! I heard that Karla is going to Oakland California for her mission that is wonderful news!! the best news ever!!! I have to go now we only have a certain amount of our hours here in internet from 10 to 12 but will talk to you next week with more time and thank you for the inspirational messages thank you again. Heyy SIS!!! How is Everything is going well!!! everything here is great im done with my training and its my turn to train a new Missionary its crazy how time goes by... we also celebrated Halloween here in Peru but not as much as the States.Everything is great and GREAT NEWS:) I baptize in my area it was the coolest thing ever but the water was soooooooo ice cold but we did it ! Im feeling great since now I have become a trainee for the new missionaries coming in, is going to be a challenge but im doing it! OH and GUESS WHAT I ATE........ GUINEA PIG HAHAHA!!! It was so good

Hi Sis, everything is great! We have two people who we are hoping they will agree on being baptize. Its a father and son which is pretty great! We have another investigator who is still reading the Book of Mormon and still having doubts if he wants to get baptize but he will i have faith!  My companion and I are play soccer in ther morning to stay in shape, I am starting to fall in love with it again.

Hi Sis, to answer your question, no we have not had our first baptism yet but we are close we have four investigators who want to be baptize we just need to continue visiting and giving lessons to them. Glad to hear all is well and remember that God is with you all the time he loves you and i love you too and im there just not physically haha. I am praying for you and everyone! Tell them I miss them. My companion is great we work hard trying to bring people into Christ. Miss you and Love you

HEYYYY!!!! SIS i have pictures i want to send but my camera is acting up.I miss everybody tell everyone that i love them very so much especially my parents. Yes! there has been challenges and it has been tough bringing people back to church but i know that we will bring them back. Fun fact I have felt EARTHQUAKES here haha. but they are small ones not bigs ones. i never felt an earthquake before so i didnt know how it felt but now i do i could see things shake and heard loud rumbles but it goes away.
