Heyyyyy!

The weather is great over here, we walk soooo much every day and eat a whole lot of food. Wanted to share a picture of a lady we met she speaks Quechua its a native tribe language in Peru. Here is my companion and I at the Plaza de Armas in the center of Arequipa.

Hey Sis,

Miss you a lot and my parents. My new companion will be my training for about 3 months, the food is soooo amazing and I have had no issues with my stomach. Arequipa looks like Colombia but what you think is mountains are not mountains lol, they are volcanoes and there is 3 of them but only one is active.

Our ard is really small we have about 40 members and is just me and my companion.
I am enjoying teaching people its really hard but I love it.

Hello sis,

I finally made it to Arequipa now. I have been assigned a different companion his name is Elder Kleinlien, he is from Arizona. He is the one to the left of me. It has been two weeks now and I am loving it a lot. The people are very humble and nice. Now I can write on Mondays.

I cannot believe its been a week. Right now I'm in Lima, Peru next Tuesday I leave to Arequipa. It has been crazy! I met my companion Elder Hualparuca he is from Peru. I have met other missionaries from other places in the USA. Our free days at the MTC is Tuesdays so I am able to write, today we are about to go shop and do laundry. The MCT provides us with lunch and dinner. I love my group that I have here they are great to me and they are like my brothers. I miss Everything in Houston. I love you guys very much say hello to everyone.

To My wonderful Family and Friends,

 

I departed today from Houston, Texas to my mission assignment arriving in MTC Lima Peru.

 

We arrived at 2:00am in the morning, we got 4 hours of sleep but I am excited! While I had my lay over in Atlanta I met the other 15 men missionaries and 2 of the women missionaries. (see picture of group) we all arrived safe and ready to fullfill our mission.
